Witchbreed was born in 2005 from the spiritual archives of Ares and Dikk, two bass players who share both stage and studio experience since 1997 in several common and different projects. The need to unleash the inner demons of anger and saudade led these two characters of drama to spend most of the previous year in the studio writing the songs for a full record. Faith brought Ruby (vox) straight from isle paradise known as Madeira to the dark corners of a decadent XXI century Lisbon a journey needed to complete the work created by Myths and twisted pieces of reality combined with global disillusion. From all the songs written with the debut record in mind four songs were chosen to be promoted as an advance album promo, ýDescending Firesý recorded in the fall of 2005 is a selection of old school heavy riffing stabbed with a strong vocal deliverance capable of corrupting angels and seducing devils. Drums were handled by Mr. Joýo Nuno Barros a close partner of this musical experience. More to be heard nothing else to be saidý.
