Hmmm, the world around me... my personal life... Oh, there's something else too. What REALLY inspired me to wrote was my botomless desire to evade in another world, like... a world in which everything is as I desire it to be... so I said: 'What the heck! Why shouldn't I construct this word?' So I grabbed a pen and I never stopped writting(well, not quite... a person has to sleep and study you know ;)... and what do you know... I almost finished the first book of the VA series... which would DEFINITELY be the most original thing EVER... I mean, each writer has his\her own writting style and ideas and all that, but I doubt it whether anyone has yet written what I've written :) I made an in-depth reserch and I didn't managed to find any of the ideas I implemented within the plot... and I feel good about this fact! I wish you all to be creative. The best time of the day to be creative and inventive, is actually, the night (hehe) how ironic, isn't it? Good luck with publishing!
