About Me

I was born in Orange Walk Town to the late Josefa "Chepa" Torres and Salomon Tillett the original owners of Mi Amor in Orange Walk. I now live in Tennessee with my husband, children, and one grandchild. My daughter Ann is the eldest, my son Jonathan is the middle man, and Kimberly, my baby, is the last of the mold. As a child whenever we visited my grandmother in San Ignacio "Cayo" and we couldn't go to sleep at night, my grandmother "Mamai" made us count chickens. I am grateful to God for those wonderful moments with my grandmother and I tell you the truth it really worked it made us go to sleep, after counting for a good while lol. I have been blessed with so many countless blessings, then God decided to send me an angel her name is Amyah my grandaughter. I am thankful to God for such wonderful blessings. If wishes can come true my wish would be to have grandchildren instead of children, but thanks be to God for my children. Although I was upset when my daughter Ann became pregnant out of wedlock it was all good, even though I did not see it. The joy that I have with my angel covered a whole lot of pain I had wihin.It is such a wonderful blessing to have been blessed with Amyah. God knows best and thanks be to God. Truly without a doubt God has been good to me and my family. Tomorrow is not promised to no one and today is a gift from God that is why it is called "the present". Get it? Today, right now the present God's gift to us. Life is tough at times but we must handle it with prayer.God is good. Be blessed and enjoy the gift John 3:16.
