Pedro Carvalho

Born in Portugal 5th of febuary 1972


Studied fashion design for 4 years and graduated in 1992.

Went to India fell in love with the psi scene.

Turned his life towards Party!

Became a Producer, field manager, decorator and amosphere enhancer!

Making it 4 real since 1991.

Co-creator of GOOD MOOD PRODUCTIONS in portugal. A project wich begun in 1993, and changed the portuguese youth along near 100 parties and 11 years..

Co-creator of BOOM FESTIVAL from the first edition in 1997 until the 2004 edition.

This was one of the biggest adventures of his life ...

Pedro was responsable for coordinating and managing all the visual art instalations as well as planing, building and managing the whole site of the Boom Festival.

Still, his great love is allways the Dance Floor...

He coordinated countless artists and instalations in a process that assured his own artistic and professional development.

BOOM also gave him the know how that alowed him to build festivals under all sorts of conditions or locations.

Festivals and parties are very influenced by the way the space is organized inside of them. Pedro learned this in a practical way becoming a true site architect.

His coordination efforts and visionary art work helped some emblematic events to fly high!!!

Pedro helped and gave energy & work to many festivals and
parties around the world making good friends and sharing all his knowledge and learning with others.

Karmatrancer ( Pedro ) is known for his communication skils, innovative artistic vision and coordination ability.

Always defending the dance floor visuals and decorations as enhancer and motivator of life changing experiences.





Pedro is currently working on the TRANCE KARMA project wich he founded in late 2004, toghether with a happy group of people ready to fight with love for their trance karmas... Like : Miriam, Deodato ,Debora, João, Iago, Sandra.....

Pedro is Trancekarma´s head designer. Toghether with Miriam he has created and developed the structures and decorations that define TK´s futuristic visual and artistic expression.



TRANCE KARMA makes it´s own parties and participates in other festivals around the world...

Currently TRANCE KARMA produces the FREAKS BLAST FESTIVAL in portugal, every new year since 2005 together with WORLD PEOPLE from france.

Based in Portugal this very mobile team is ready to go wherever Art is needed.

Together with Miriam ( co-designer and one of the founding members of trancekarma), Pedro has started a new work front devoted to taking new visual stiles in to a broader market, outside the psy-world.
